VCS offers full, comprehensive cardiac evaluations for your patient with confirmed or suspected heart disease on-site at your clinic* (host sites available for referral**). Dr. Janet Olson, a board certified veterinary cardiologist, offers extensive experience and insight into not only diagnosing congenital and acquired heart disease, but also the therapeutic options, sound management, and long term care of all heart patients. As a team, we will provide confident, comprehensive and uncompromised specialty heart healthcare, so patient, and owner alike, can breath easy. VCS encourages owners to be present at the time of the consultation as they are an integral part of the healthcare team.

Through this portal you can do the following:

Pre-register your patient for an on-site visit
Submit radiographs, ECGs and/or echocardiograms for consultation
Review all your patient’s cardiac reports
Access client handouts

To begin your portal entry, click on the VCS logo to the right. You will then be prompted to either “Sign Up” your clinic or “Log in”. If you have questions or would like to refer your patient to one of the VCS Host Clinic Sites, please contact Dr. Olson directly at 612-353-7440 Ext: 1.

Main services include consultation (including radiograph review), echocardiograms, 6 lead ECGs and Holter monitoring. But, VCS offers many ancillary services as well, including OFA heart health certifications, genetic testing, thoracocentesis and pericardiocentesis.

Review of previously performed diagnostic tests (i.e. radiographs, blood work, ecg) is included in all on-site visits as a part of the consult. If you have radiographs, labwork, or other diagnostic tests, go ahead and attach them to the consult request – its included, so why not!
